Angel-A (2005) is better, but comes across like a poor man s Wings of Desire (Wim Wender s 1987) with a guardian angel watching over a hapless immigrant (Jamel Debbouse). The less said about Arthur and the Invisibles (2006) the better, but then it was meant for children and perhaps they were grateful. (Suite101.com)

In a statement, Wenders - whose previous films include Wings of Desire and Paris, Texas - said the film, simply titled Pina, would be "a homage" to the choreographer and "a deep bow to the beauty she released into the world". They may soon be joined by "The Betrayal (Nerakhoon)," which was an Oscar nominee for best documentary and is now, in theatrical release, making its way across the United States.
