Moviegoers who happened to see the big-budget mess "The Chronicles of Riddick" five years ago may have sworn off David Twohy's films for life. The cut that played in theaters was just enough of a bloated, over-caffeinated "Dune"-like spectacle to make audiences forget all the nice touches that the writer-director had with dialogue and action in "Pitch Black." But you could just ignore all that, though, and give into the many B-movie conventions A Perfect Getaway has to offer: skeevy hitchhikers and strangers in the jungle, skinny dipping and girl-on-girl fistfights.
