    Its a little like a sitcom variation on Being There, the great Jerzy Kosinski story (and later Peter Sellers film) about a guileless gardener whose simple utterances, mistaken for profound wisdom, alter the lives of those around him. Charlies newfound mojo actually winds up saving at least one life (his own), although the kinds of mortal dangers that pop up in The Foreigner rank about a 2 on the spook meter.
