Frankenstein gets a twofer here considering that Peter Boyle and ; who played the classic monster in Young Frankenstein and , respectively ; both managed to create touching and comedic versions of this legendary abomination. But both actors were able to find the humanity within the character by playing him for laughs instead of screams, highlighting the almost childish nature of the character in place of, say, his more murderous characteristics.
