It was a treat being a fly on the wall Monday night as Pacino and Wheeler reminisced with other Theatre Company alumni, including Paul Guilfoyle and Jan Egleson, about working on plays with Benedict. After it became financially impossible to keep producing plays, Wheeler went on to direct at the American Repertory Theater, which championed many of the same modern masters as he did, such as Bertolt Brecht, Samuel Beckett, and Harold Pinter. Fishburne began shooting scenes early last fall as part of the ensemble that includes veterans Marg Helgenberger, George Eads, Eric Szmanda, Paul Guilfoyle, Robert David Hall, Wallace Langham and David Berman as well as Lauren Lee Smith, who, like him, signed on this season.
