At the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival, National Geographic Entertainment is presenting a period piece set in 1930's China titled "City of Life and Death. " The company also distributes Palestinian American drama "Amreeka" and will produce "The Way Back," a historical drama about Siberian exiles directed by Peter Weir ("Picnic at Hanging Rock," "Witness," "Master and Commander").
