My children really enjoyed Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, although when I asked if they liked it better than any other films they saw, they all agreed that Ice Age 3 was better. While seeing Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs in 3-D at the IMAX theater at Jordan s Furniture in Reading (with built-in butt blasters in each seat to make you feel the boom of each explosion) certainly added to the appeal of this film for my kids, it didn t do much to convince me that this was anything other than... I thought of the original "Airplane!" film several times throughout the movie for some reason, and I think that's a testament to the level of originality we're dealing with here, but "Meatballs" is more than just goofy puns.
