The film, which was adapted from the play Who's Afraid of the Working Class, was directed by Ana Kokkinos and stars Miranda Otto, Deborra-Lee Furness and Frances O'Connor. A Spanish actor with Down syndrome, Pablo Pineda, picked up the best actor prize at the festival in the northern Spanish coastal city for his role in Yo, Tambien (Me Too), the jury announced on Saturday. For her part, Kokkinos credits a childhood spent training in the Footscray pool and later the Olympic pool in Swan Street for the stamina that enables her to make it through a shoot.
