    At midnight last night, he screened at the SXSW Film Festival -- his first foray into true, balls-to-the-wall horror since Evil Dead II in 1987 (unless you count the slapstick comedy of Army of Darkness or the psychological drama of The Gift, which I don't) and the results were quite simply breathtaking.
