When Chazz Palminteri wrote "A Bronx Tale," back in the 1980s, he must have known he was understating the case ... Based on his '60s Bronx childhood, the Oscar-nominated actor wrote and first performed the play in 1989. The film followed in 1993, and Palminteri brought the hood to Broadway a couple of years ago where it had a successful run. (Boston Globe)
